Anyone ordered from Muz? How fast is their shipping?
I ordered mats about a month ago, and haven't received them yet. And yes, I paid for second day.

I ordered them without the heel mats - I don't mind a little wear, as I can always replace them, and I hate the feeling of rubber in the footwell. Possibly this is holding things up some, which I don't mind. It's the not knowing how long it will take that's bothersome.

I would have ordered the Rick's mats, except that his premium mats are wool which may wear more than even I would like (keeping in mind I don't like a heel mat), and the edging on the base mats isn't as nice as on the OEM mats. The wording on Muz' site makes me think they may have the nice thread bound edges of the OEM mats.

I always wear a hole through my mats because of my driving style. This last time, I decided to make something that wouldn't wear through no matter what. I ended up chopping up some MOMO mat guards to fit the S2000's mats. They look awsome in the car (and match nice since mine is Rio Yello). I'd like to think this is as close to a lifetime wear proof mat that you'll get.

BTW, it's not centered on the mat, but it's centered with the pedals. It fits evenly below them.

Muz,

I am sure that your opinion of what you sell as you standard mat and my opinion are two different things. I call it felt with a rubber backing. You call it carpet or whatever you consider it. The bottom line is that they looked and felt extremely cheap. The binding work was, lets just say, unattractive at best. I wouldn't put them in my beater Civic. I can go buy a better quality floor mat at my local pep boys for $35.00 but unfortunately, Pep Boys mats are not custom fitted for the S2000 and do not cover the frame rail. She was not happy with your mats at all. She called to see if there was a way to exchange them for the prestige mats. In fairness to you personally, she did not speak with you but did speak with a lady that works for you. She was not rude, but she was not helpful or very understanding either. I am certain that your employee did adhere to the policies and terms and conditions clearly laid out on your website exactly the way they are stated. I am not debating any of this.

I have purchased things from you in the past and have been pleased with my purchase. I continue to buy products for my cars. Items that you sell. But, not from you. You have lost my business. Also, don't expect business from my other buddies that have S2000's. They saw the garbage floor mats that you sent to us and they hold the same opinion of the mats and your business practices as I do.

Just a small bit of flexibility on your part would have been greatly appreciated. We decided to purchase the mats from you based on the postings and opinions of others. If we would have been able to exchange them for your more expensive prestige mats, this would not have been an issue. We told the person that we spoke to that we would have been happy to pay extra money at that point for a better quality mat but we were told that this was not an option under any circumstances. Now, maybe those people will think twice before they purchase a clearly low quality product from you for, IMO, an extremely high price. I am planning to buy a new set of mats for my car. I know that Ricks has mats but at a higher price. But, every single thing that I have purchased from them has been of the highest quality. Also, their shipping and customer service on all of the purchases I have made has been outstanding. I have made at least 6 separate purchases from them over the last 3 years. They have my business now.

[QUOTE=bkw,Mar 24 2005, 11:29 PM] woah.. muz, when did you change the design of the heel pad? it looks like its now extra tuffed wool rather than the plastic-y bumpy thing i have on my mats.

Got mine 6 weeks ago. FANTASTIC product. I ordered charcoal since they do not have tan. I also ordered driver side heel pad, S2000 label mid -way, black trim. I ordered them in premium. Took 4 weeks. I did not pay for faster delivery. If you are going through this get a driver side convex mirror. You will be very happy.

Hi.

There is always a short manufacturing time for custom orders but we've just recently experienced our first ever delay from the supplier of our floormat backing which put us behind schedule. Some express orders were delayed as a result however we have since received the backing, expect to complete manufacturing of any delayed orders over the Easter break and be back up to full steam ahead by the end of it.

Got my floor mats today - they are nice, thanks. I also notice that the nubs are tall enough to hold in place both your mats, and the little OEM mats stacked on top of them, so I can use the OEM mats as "heel pads".

No install instructions for the JDM side markers?
