What's with the CAPS? Fob isn't an acronym. It's just a word for a dangling thing, originally attached to a pocket watch but adapted for modern times.

the OP did it so everyone just kinda FOLLOWED lol. isn't the black rubber part on the actual key called the FOB? what the OP is talking about is just the REMOTE.
