fog lamps in side mirrors

no i havn't been to that forum yet, what is it, airgate my thoughts exactly ijust think it would be a neat touch to our cars when its coming down the rod the see the two little lights on the side.

Maybe if someone posted a picture as an example of this mod (on any car), people would be more accepting.

I don't think height would be an issue since most SUV/truck lights are mounted higher. They would need to be angled downward.

thats what i have been saying i would just aim them more towards the ground but still giving enough light to the road

I believe I saw a discussion of rally car modifications once. I seem to recall that the mirror mounted lights were more intended to alert spectators that the car was coming, rather than to provide road illumination. That's why you'll often see them turned on during daylight when the car's headlights are off. It helps to have the lights higher up so the spectators can see the car sooner if it's approaching over a crest.

yes thats what the real intentions are for, but i saw a corvette with them and when the sun is begining to go down they give a really nice affect to the car, and to the road, they lights the road up enough when you don't need the brightness of our head lights but a little more light would help than nothing.
