fog lamps in side mirrors
Hi All:
I believe in the US those lights would be acceptable as so-called "Auxiliary Lamps" and should be legal to have on your car. I refer to the Jeep Liberty Renegade who has two sets of Aux lamps on the roof. I guess as long as you don't blind oncoming traffic it should be okay??
In Europe you would be able to get away with them if they function properly as the Main Beam (or rather High Beam) lamps, because here it is allowed to have two sets of these (one set in the standard front lamps). The lamps would be definitively too high to be regarded as Fog Lamps.
Regards,
Peter
