Ha I think we're winning because the Miata forums don't know about it yet!
Actually they do. That's how I found out about it

other than being a 2 seater 4 cyl and made in japan there is little in common between the two. i have owned 2 miatas and can say without a doubt that they are the best bang for the buck roadster out there, period. is the miata a better car than the S2000, again i can say without a doubt the honda is a better car in terms of value, reliability, upkeep, performance, features, engineering and yes...it has a high fun factor, but costs a little more. i would and do own the honda if i had to make the choice now/again, etc...they are a worthy pair these two.

S is nice but too damn fat 2855lbs vs. 2474lbs for the Miata.

I have owned several Miatas and now have the Honda for the past 4 years. For me nothing beats light weight and great steering, the Honda is 400 pounds heavier and the feel from the steering sucks zebra dlck compared to the Mazda. Tracking both cars over the years I give the nod to the Mazda. Pitching a lightweight car is much more fun for me in the Miata. Before you guys get your panties in a bunch , the Honda has a few good qualities as well but for the track I prefer the Miata.
