Forget Card&Driver, we've got the Associated Press!
When you enter the dealership skeptical with a Porsche lineage behind you and leave with key fob in hand, that pretty much sums it up. If you want to believe the naysayers, having decided to cut a check for this diminuitive 4-cylinder, it would appear he must of stumbled upon the only S2000 in the country with gobs of torque. BWHAHAHA
Everyone, as much as we'd love to have everyone else "join the party" isn't it nice that our little club has remained, essentially, a secret to the majority of the automotive community? As a result, it always pleases me to read such wonderful commentary on a car that is three years old. His euphoria reminds me of the day I ran home to tell my dad what it felt like to drive a go-kart for the first time.

I don't know if this guy has an S2000 or not, but he freaking lifted this verbiage straight from the S2KCA's webs site!
You can find it on the index page at www.s2kca.com. Notice any similarities!??
Here's the text, for your convenience...this was written EONS ago by me! So much for journalistic integrity, which has long since vanished. This to me is the last nail in its coffin. What a joke...

The Car
The S2000 is a hand-assembled "racecar for the street" roadster from Honda Motor Company that attracts a very special owner - one that demands an exceptional blend of solid performance, beauty and traditional Honda reliability. It is an extraordinary vehicle designed from the ground up to celebrate Honda's 50th anniversary in motorsports.
Now that the car is in its third model year, many have experienced the fun and crazy nature of the S2000. It's simply a blast to own and drive with beautiful handling, solid performance and terrific good looks. It's an all around winner, which is why we started the club...to share the enthusiasm for it.
The Club
The S2000 Club of America, Inc. (S2KCA) was founded by people who love and drive the S2000. The S2000 is the car our passions are centered around and has brought together. We are proud of the terrific group of automotive enthusiasts that make up the S2KCA.
The S2KCA sponsors a wide range of activities, from autocrosses to driver's education days to casual get-togethers in the countryside to S2KDays, our annual national event. We encourage and fully support the formation of S2KCA chapters on a regional and local basis. S2KCA strives to be a reliable resource for S2000 owners, enthusiasts and soon- to- be owners.

Can always pull out the old "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", but I guess you won't buy it. Yeah, he's pretty bad.
Very much along the same lines, have you noted that the quickie auto reviews in newspapers, and even in car mags, tend to have the same lines in them? When the last-gen Prelude came out, they all mentioned how the Lude was traditionally Honda's proving ground for technology. Yet I had never seen this mentioned before '97. I can guarantee you that this appeared in the press kit. Since I've been working in the auto industry, I've seen lines we put in press releases and press kits appear verbatim time and time again in many a writeup. Hey these so-called journalists can be as lazy as anyone else. That doesn't excuse him from taking it from your site.
Drive one, and no more glorious reviews or exhuberant descriptions become necessary- the drive says it all.
Z4 design as opined by Bangle...
"It's a leap beyond other cars the way sculpture changed when classical sculptors discovered the power of draping cloth on nude forms and infusing them with motion.
That nude, now with the revealing and energizing aspect of a tissue of cloth, is the Z4," he said. "To me that's as big a jump in terms of aesthetic value systems as there was between an Eve before the fall, where she was innocent and pure, and the sexiness that she had was an animalistic pureness that radiated out of her, and an Eve after the fall who discovered and was aware of the surface of her body, could use clothes and the drapery of form, a slit here an opening there, to bring a new kind of erotic sensuality. Same woman, two different aspects."
Clearly our car can never hope to compete, unless the Z4 is slowed by the sheer mounds of BS it's forced to drive through.

I wonder how long it will be before new enthusiasts start getting upset with s2kca for copying the AP article without giving credit?
