I was putting down my top the other day and i noticed a little wear spot on the passenger side. must be rubbing on the frame somewhere. so...it hasn't actually punched through yet and i was wondering if i could do reinforce it somehow to stop it from actually tearing.

i have the same issue and basically the dealer told me that when it fully rips the top 2 take it in for a warranty claim. but for now they just put "special tape" in other words electrical tape over the bar thats causing the wear spot.
