Default Frame Damage S2000

How much is a 2002 Honda S2000 with 35k miles and rear frame damage worth? The S2000 has a clean title, but the Carfax shows that the car has suffered frame damage. The repair job looks top notch. Any ideas? Thanks.

Frame damage = Not a clear title.

Unless it was DIRT cheap, the only one you can afford, and you are SET on getting into an S2 right NOW, I would step away from it.
This is my opinion, and others may prove me wrong. Of course I don't know the car so my statement is based on what you told me. It might be a slightly bent sub-frame that was completely replaced rather than being fixed in which case it's perfect. So really I don't know. Find out how much damage it really had and what shop fixed it.

Thanks for the reply. I will most likely avoid this car. I should correct myself, the car doesn't have a salvage title.

sorry, but that is just plain false.

if the cost to repair is <70% of the car's value, the insurance fixes it and the title remains clear. it would only be a non-clear title if the car was totalled.
