Default Free Honda 40-point inspection

Thought you might be interested... Taken from Fatwallet.com and a Honda website:

Since April is National Car Care Month, you might check your tires, oil and coolant level. But how do you examine tie rod ends or a CV-joint boot? Haven

I can see it right now. I'm gonna go the the service desk and tell them id like my free 40 point inspection and there gonna tell me there isn't such a thing. Then I'm gonna argue with them and make them look it up. The guy at the service desk is such a pain in the ass....

This should be fun

Thanks for the heads up! I'm definitely going to print out that page, showing that my dealership is part of it. Hopefully that will block any grief they want to give me.

If your going to do it, be sure you have a pretty good idea of the condition of your car.

I bet they'll tell you a million things are wrong or "need replacement" when in reality is nothing.

My TCT is dying in mine and I received the mailer for my 40pt inspection. I ordered the new TCT already and intend to do the work myself.

Should I replace it before I take it in or take it in rattling away and see what they say about it? (if they say anything) My thought was that if I do the latter I can see if they actually do anything with my car at all or if they just scribble some things down and don't actually look at the car. I don't know what they really do with this 40pt inspection.

What do you guys think?
