it sucks to be taken advantage of...you have small claims court as an option, you have your insurance company as an option. you can also live with it as an option...i would not have chased him..i would have written down the number and then thought it over...every time i see that dent it would be a reminder...small claims with an estimate..in fact get an estimate to see how much this is worth , then you can choose your options.

Not sure why you did what you did, but you should have just got off the car at the light and just scream at him...that's the most you can do to make yourself feel better. Obviously, he wouldn't give a sh*t about it.

Better yet, just throw something back at his car and take off.....it's just unlucky for you. Sorry to hear that......I hate jerks...

You should of got out at the light and punched him in the face, now he would have to chase you down lol.

This happen to me before, but I dodged the soda can and it was 3 young guys in the car.

File the police report then file a claim with the insurance company.

Very sorry to hear this. I'd be extremely pissed off too. You could try making a claim but this is one of those "he says she says" case where none of you has any proof.

Keep a brick in the car to return the favour?, maybe not, camera on your phone? picture on his car showing the time and place so at least you can prove were he was at the time.

your dads right. you should have tossed something back... sadly enough with our justice system and insurance policies things like this end up the owners responsability unless you have more money then the damage on your car to pay for court fees and lawyers. good luck! I always keep junk like old phone chargers in my car in case things like this happens for pay back

lug nuts work great for this. just rough it up on the pavement so it looks like it's been on the road for a while
