Default Front Bumper Bra

Hey all, I'm thinking about driving my S down from the bay area to LA, and the drive down there isnt exactly the most friendly one for bumpers. Bugs and little rocks litter the road, especially on the larger highways. Does anyone know where I can pick up a front bumper cover for the car? I've also considered using blue painters tape, but found mixed reviews on the tape leaving residue thats equally hard to remove as bug guts. Any help would be good, thanks!

I would avoid the "bra" type covers, moisture (even from heavy overnight dews) can get trapped underneath and with the heat of the day it can cloud your paint.

For temporary usage a product like Xpel's track wrap is a better option.

XPEL Tracwrap - XPEL

^and sand can get trapped underneath the bra and scratch up your paint as well.

This- I have full XPEL Ultimate on the entire front end of MY04 (and my other vehicles as well), and it has held up perfectly.

That looks like the same roll of Saran Wrap type material you see lying around at Costco. They let me snag a few rolls and it is great for wrapping up/securing packages and various items.

sweeet! thanks for the tips, I think i might actually go with the tracwrap. I was only thinking of keeping the bra on during the drive down to LA, and I'd take it off immediately when I get to my brothers place. But I like the wrap better, simple solution, and way more temporary. I have no room to store a full leather bra.
