Default VentureShield ?

Hi. I'm new to this forum, but have been an S2000 driver since 06. Unfortunately, I recently scratched up the front corner of my bumper and will be having it repainted soon. After the last 3 years the rock/bug zone is quite dotted with small chips so it's time to paint it anyway.

My question is regarding this thing someone told me about called VentureShield... it's a clear urethane film made by 3M that is designed to protect the car from paint chips caused by road debris. Has anyone seen these or installed them on their S ? Seems appealing but not sure how it looks installed.

I installed it on my car. I drive mostly on interstates so I knew rock chips would eventually ruin the front end of my s2k.

I wouldn't have it any other way. I like having some protection up front and not have to worry as much about rock chips. This is my 3rd vehicle with the 3M clear bra treatment. I have my front bumper, hood, front fenders, and mirrors done.

It's just a clear bra. It will protect your front bumper and hood from rock chips, but after time it will also turn yellow.

Oh and welcome on board Make sure you come in to the Off Topic thread and BS with us.

It's always really high on your first day. Everything you post is counted, after that it becomes an average of your number of posts by how many days you've been here.

Ohh, and welcome!
