Front Bumpers without Plates
Thanks for answering what probably seemed like an obvious question. I’m a newb and picking the car up later this week, 2006 Suzuka Blue with only 9,000 miles - single owner for last 14 years. So I have a lot to learn about this platform. So the next question is where do I get an AP2 OEM from the lip? All of the Honda sites say “discontinued. I gotta believe someone is making knock offs in the JDM market.
The oem ap2 lips are indeed discontinued and unavailable. The best knock off version is the Bayson r that can usually be found on eBay.
Definitely not nearly as good a fit as the always perfect oem. Usually requires soke massaging to fit. Careful use of a heat gun, and laying it on in hot sun on pavement for a while seem to help greatly with fitment.
You'll also want to search for the part number for the oem rubber trim, which is still available. This is the very thin rubber trim that fills any gaps between bumper and lip. It'll make a world of difference for getting near oem results.
This rubber trim is available in couple colors. A lighter version for white cars, can also be used on the grey, and black for everything else.

There are OEM front spoilers for sale from time to time at high prices. The reproductions seem hard to fit but at least don't give the same risk of damage anxiety the OEM versions do. Stay far away from parking curbs, the nose is much longer than it seems even without the front spoiler.
Hard to get the paint to match just using the paint code and rattle cans as colors change over 15 years of just being there. And there are three different materials on the front of the car which tend to show paint a little differently depending on the light. Steel fenders, aluminum hood, plastic bumper cover. The non-OEM spoiler may be something different as well.
I had lots of stone chips on my front bumper so I had that professionally refinished and had the the OEM front spoiler installed a couple years ago. Body shop did a good job blending the paint.

They don't do a very good job of marketing. Its a total of 8 pieces. Not sure if they're all the same length.
Cheaper on Amazon (there is a 10% coupon).
I've looked into buying Marine Board (black ABS sheets in various thickness and length, originally meant for creating boat dashboards. Typically a flat side and a textured side), and cutting to shape, but it'd cost even more than this, and require lots of work to create.

(If it's even that long.)
