2005 AP@ grill questions. Seems like mine had been glued in at one time and has come loose.(pretty sure it isnt supposed to be glued in) The grill itself "looks" intact, I'm trying to find out how it is supposed to be attached. The part is still available if I need to get another but as I said not sure how it is supposed to be attached. Seems like there should be some sort of mechanical fasteners, but I'm not finding anything. A "fish" type photo would be nice.
Thanks.
Oh yeah I forgot I had that, thanks. Looks like I have to remove the whole bumper to get at it! Sounds like a project, but I think I’ll order the grill while they still have them.
The grill on my S did the same thing. There are small clips that hold the grill into the backside of the bumper that seem to fail very easily. The glue on yours was probably a fix done by the previous owner. I fixed mine by taking the bumper off and drilling holes for small thru-bolts where the grill and bumper tabs overlap. I did 2 along the bottom and 1 on each side face and used black anodized hardware so its barely noticeable. You could also try to fix it with glue again.

Yeah, I did some spot gluing for now to keep it in place, but your solution sounds like a good one. How hard is it to R&R that bumper?
Looks nice, but I'm thinking I probably have a 90 degree adapter out in one of my tool boxes. The hex drive on this sure makes it a lot narrower though. And mate that with a set of stubby bits and I think we're in business.
