Just wondering how many people keep front license plates on their S2k's.

"Illegal? Nothing is illegal till you get caught!"

I was thinking about removing my front license plate and buying a set of plugs from H-A Accessories - almost ordered the plugs yesterday. But after getting hit by a piece of particle board that was kicked up by a GIANT SUV on my way to work this morning, I have decided to keep my front license plate. The plate took the brunt of the impact, saving my bumper cap from serious damage and resulting in only a few scratches and a couple of dings in the lower portion of the bumper. If it hadn't been there I am certain that the bumper cap would have been damaged extensively.

You guys need to lobby your state reps and convince them that the state would save millions if they would get rid of the front plate. They would at least cut the cost of plate production in half.

Here in Michigan they got rid of the front plate years ago, too bad they didn't put the extra money in the roads! We have potholes that can eat an entire S2K!

Another good thing about living in south east Georgia, no front licensee plate. Also 76 degrees and nothing but sunshine today. Time to go for a ride.

Barry,

is your top down all the way? Looks like it sticks up a bit.

Also, wouldnt that place location reduce cooling of the car? Not that it matters given the white stuff on the road

I guess it also takes the place of the grill guard.
