I thought I was scraping the bumper, until I saw the mudflaps. All I'm doing is screwing those up and really who cares about them anyway. Sure you guys are bottoming out??

I got the OEM front spoiler protector from Coastal Metals two weeks after I bought the car.

Within 30 minutes of installing it I already had a couple of
scratches on it.

Then last sunday i went downtown with my wife. We were
chit chating and I just drove the car onto the kerb at
the parking lot. The protector took a beating but
the OEM spoiler is intact. One look at the protector
and I knew the Spoiler would not have survived.

That $160 saved me the cost of replacing the $500 spoiler
($500 is the list price, I actually paid $350 for it)

Later that night we went to the movies and parked next
to an 02 Silverstone. Out of curiosity I checked his bumber
for scratches ... i don't think there was a spot longer
than 1/2 inch without a scratch along the bottom. you could
even see the scratches from about 2 feet away.

My S is stock height, but I still take my time over bumps and intersections (there are some pretty wicked spots in So Cal). I'd rather people look at me and call me a "poser" for going so slow over the said spots, than my S to be f'd up. Knaw mean?
