If you are installing the wheels (at least for AP1) the rear wheels when installed on the front will not set on the hub correctly. There will be noticeable gab between hub and wheel.

Trust me I know

I once had the rear wheel on my front, on one side (installed by tire shop) and it popped 3 bolts.

This makes me glad I got an AP2.

I thought that you weren't supposed to run the donut spare on the rear, but rather replace a flat rear tire with a front wheel and then put the donut on the front (or maybe it's the other way around -- but it involves using a front/rear on the rear/front).

How in the world can you be expected to do this if the hubs don't set right?

Or is the donut on AP1s OK on either end? HPH

Dude, he said that "the rears will not seat properly on the front". He did not say "the fronts will not seat properly on the rear".

The donut spare should only be run on the front. Since it is a different diameter, it will cause the LSD to have fits if installed in the back.

However, I mostly don't even carry the spare tire around with me.

I don't have an AP2, but I would tend to think that the center holes on your rims will be similar in design to AP1 rims. Next time you have them off the car, measre the hole diameters. I'm betting that the front rim holes will be larger than the rear rim holes just like they are on AP1 rims. This is so putting a rear rim onto the front is very difficult.

Even with aftermarket rims, you should be using the centering rings designed for an S2000. For example, Volk rims come with 2 different sizes of rings. Again, this is so you can lessen the confusion when installing wheels and tires. Mind you, taking note of the tire size should be standard practice when changing rims/tires.
