Gotta say the eyelids are piss poor, but the spoiler is phat.

Is it lower to the ground than the OEM spoiler? And how is this spoiler self-installable? The fit looks as if it's been glued on and then the entire bumper painted over!

spoilerish, lol. I like that.

Yeah, mine has quite a few more curves and things going on with it. It was designed to be functional, rather than a simple flat lip that extends lower (of course its only as functional as something can be designed without a million dollar budget and a wind tunnel).

BTW, I prefer the gears lip far more than the OEM lip. And the eyebrows...looks cheap and pasted on (only half of which is actually true).

Be warned that the factory chin spoiler can have fit issues.

Note that the passenger side has a gap. The strakes are much worse.

This issues are minor, but I'm thinking about removing them anyway and going for some aftermarket stuff.

I think the general consensus is that the OEM spoiler fits well. Sorry to see the gap, but your S2000 looks beautiful anyways. Wouldn't have noticed if you didn't point it out, but I know it's annoying to know it's there.

I just hope the Gears version doesn't stick out too far and too low.

And, Ben, solid job on your car, but the rims are too expensive, man!

spaceneedle,

Thanks.

Yes, I know the HRE wheels are a lot. You really pay for the quality. Luckily for me I'm HRE sponsored and a dealer of their products so I can still afford to build other products for you guys. Also, as I usually do, I'd be glad to help reduce the price of the wheels for all S2000 owners out there.

As for the front spoiler fit problem, thats too bad. Its very difficult to get add on body panels that fit exactly perfect without modification. I'm willing to bet that the Gears part will also need a little modification to fit as well as it looks in the pictures. My spoilers have similar issues as well.
