fuel gauge question.
This may seem like a stupid question but does anyone know if all the bars of the fuel gauge is supposed to be lit when the tank is full? I only had my s2k for about a month and I noticed that the last bar (beside the empty line) is not lit. I am wondering if the light could be out or if that is normal. Maybe I am just paranoid. Can anyone let me know if that is the way the car is?
Thanks
Thanks
Mine's sometimes all lit, sometimes the last 2 doesn't lit when fill to full, that last 2 something will lit after couple miles of driving.
I think yours are like that too.
I doubt there are problem of your fuel gauge
I don't think you have anything to worry about now.

Just doing a search in the forum, I have discovered that it is normal to have 1 bar not lit next to the red bar by the "E". If anyone wants to go to the thread "fuel gauge faulty" when doing a search, they will find that it is normal for the s2k to have 1 bar not lit next to the E. There should be 10 bars above and 10 bars below the half way point with 1 bar not lit on the far left of the gauge next to the E.

Now that we are on the topic of fuel I would like to ask a question. Every time I have no more lines left and i fill up, I only get 10.8 gallons on fill up. Our car comes with 13.2 gallons of gas. Does Honda really leave like 3 gallons for reserve?
