Those of you that have Rick's aeroscreen, which size do you recommend - full size or the 7/8? I have read the about the issue of the full size touching the rear window, but your also buying aeroscreen for wind reduction. Also, does the full size or the 7/8 really make a big difference over the stock aeroscreen? help GaToR

Hi Gators

I had the full size. Rick was kind enough to swap it out for the 7/8. I recommend the 7/8 - no vibration problems, and I think it blocks the draft in the car better than the full size. Workmanship on both is superb. Just my opinion.

I have the 7/8 model. Definitely works better than stock!
Here is one thing to think about. When looking in the rear-view mirror, you can notice the top of the screen. The top line is right in the middle view. I'm not sure if the full height version is better.
I got the 7/8 version, cuz I didn't want to worry about the screen hitting the back window.

Is the line in the rear view mirror very bothersome to you? And you feel that the improvement over the stock is significant? With the stock aeroscreen, will it bend forward as well as backwards? I need to check on that. GaToR

From a design standpoint I prefer the 7/8 as it just looks more interesting to have the arc of the screen not meet the roll bar hoops at the tangent point of their arc. Kind of a Richard Meier or Frank Lloyd Wright sort of thing. That plus the reduced potential for rubbing the top.

I bought mine and let it sit for better than a month before I got up the nerve to do the install. Once I started, it went very smooth. Rick's instructions are perfect and the fit and finish is as good (if not better) than Honda's.

Have the 7/8. Big improvement over the stock screen. On my second one as the dealer broke my first one when fixing the seatbelt TSB. They are paying for the replacement. Ordering a 7/8 again

Do you need to have a stock wind screen installed before you can replace it with after market (Rick's 7/8 size?).

I am getting my S2000 in 2 weeks and I did not get it with stock wind screen. I was hoping to install an after market.

Thanks,

DLee

I have the 7/8 tinted version and like it except for some vibration that I need to fix. I think this version looks better than the full-size which I think is overkill

Just to warn you, if you order the full mechanism from me, you'll pay a lot more than you would by ordering direct from H and A (which is where I get mine anyway) and installing the screen yourself. You pay me for labor that you can very easily do yourself.
