From the outside under the flap at the top of the rear window I've got this foam strip that's about 1.5"- 2" wide and runs the length of the window.

Is it supposed to lay flat or have a crease in it?

Noticed it last week and stuck my hand up under the flap to flatten it out but every time I put the top down it gets creased again.
What's Up?

 

I believe that that flap covers the zipper and therefor has a bump in it.

 

It's a 3/32ths closed cell foam strip that's definitely folded,..........or NOT.
