Yesterday I was with a friend at autozone getting some parts for a 1988 ford ranger 5 speed we are working on. The guy checking our items out at the counter saw that I pulled up in an S2000. While we were leaving he followed us outside to check it out and he wanted to look at the engine. So I pop open the hood and about the same time a very elderly gentleman returning used oil walks up and looks at the engine. He goes "Wow your engine is not transverse, thats strange". I'm like "uh yeah, its RWD, most engines in RWD applications are longitudinal". He just looks at me confused and walks off. Poor guy, he was old enough to know better, but I guess he's changed the oil on too many FWD cars to remember.

Hmmm... Sorry but that's about as funny as the skits on Saturday Night Live have been recently....

 

Damn....that is just about the best analogy I've heard in a long time. It's just horrible this season.
