ChuckS2k, I know exactly how you feel, I put down my deposit for a Yellow '01 back in late June and I still don't have an exact built date yet. At first they said late October or November, but now I think it's going to be around January'ish. To answer your question, yes, it's pretty common for Honda to delay your delivery date. Depending on the dealership, they only get alloted a few cars a year and can only order it when that dealer's time comes, sometimes its earlier, sometimes its later. In my case, it's going to be a good 7-8 month wait. Good luck.
