Fuses/Radar Detector Install
After reading the post referencing the available fuse circuits, and seeing them listed in the FAQ on sk2i.com, I checked them out...
On my 2001, the last three fuse sockets I assume everyone's referring too, (25-27 in users manual) are devoid of any contacts!
That's right, no metal, no connectors, no nothing.
The daytime running lights circuit (#14) is hot w/o key, so could be good for security system since there's assumedly nothing else on it.
My only thought for the radar detector however, would be the Accessory Socket (#5) as it's switched and wouldn't have another load.
Is this different than 2000 year s2000's?
Does anyone have any better switched lines or recommendations on running the wiring up for a detector?
Thank's beforehand!

The slots easiest to see for me didn't seem to have any connectors in them. I used the fuse for the audio (sorry don't remember number), since when the car is off, I don't mind the detector off, and since the fuse adapter said 10 amp max for any attached fuse, and the audio uses 10 amp.
For hot line I used a bolt that holds the hood latch handle at left of driver's knee (lhd car).

(But brr.. This detached garage concept is chilly!)
That was the extra info I needed, I was looking too closely at the fuses (which are on the right) and didn't have enough info from the earlier posts to look on the left.
So the next question is, are those circuits fused or not? (IE, do I need to include an inline fuse when wiring to them?)
