Default FUTURE OWNERSHIP

My current car's lease matures in about 4 months. At this time, I plan on getting an s2k. But Before I pull the trigger, I do have a bunch of questions for all you experts.
1. Being that I live in FL., have no kids, and travel 4 miles to work 5 days a week I plan on getting one of these as my ONLY car. I don't want to get this car and hate it, so is this a mistake?
2. I have some experience driving at Moroso and Atlanta motor speedway, but I definately consider myself a novice driver. Is this a car for me?
3. What are some maint. issues that I should be aware of during my ownership experience?

If you all can give me your honest opinion, it will be much appreciated.

A LOT of owners use their S as a DD with no problems.

Lack of storage space is about it.

This car is fine for what you describe. The only caveats are the obvious ones:

1) Are you physically comfortable getting in and out of the car? Being too old/fat/tall probably makes this car less appealing as a DD.

2) Do you have to park in areas where parking a convertible will give you anxiety?

3) Can you deal with the fact that you won't be able to carry more than one passenger and not much stuff without renting/borrowing another car?

I DD this car. Driving it is the best part of the day, everyday (unless the car has issues of course).

1. if you can deal with the lack of storage space and be comfortable in it, i don't see a problem with dd'ing an S.
2. you'll be fine as a novice driver and still be able to appreciate the car for what it is. as your driving improves, the greater the satisfaction.
3. its a honda.

There is a little more storage space than my neighbors Honda (plus 2 extra wheels not counting the spare).

Mine's a DD. 15 minutes to work and 20 to 30 on the long way home. It's the best part of my day.
