That exact thing happened to me in a parking lot when I had mine. I got an insurance check for about 1,500 and had my PDR guy take it all out for $150. It was 99% perfect and I could overlook a small wavy section that you can only see from 6 inches away at the correct angle for 1300 bucks cash in my pocket.

Yup.. I will punch an old lady, a young lady, an old man, or a young man over a car or almost anything else that they hit if they drive it in a direction without looking. OP's car was right BEHIND her when she was REVERSING, so she obviously didn't look. Would you be saying this topic is shameful if there was a child standing behind the car when she reversed it without looking where she was going? Just sayin.

Now I know this question might not be answerable however, how much do you think it'll cost to fix this? As I stated, the paint is chipped out, the quarter is creased, the dent goes to the top of the frame and it looks like the wheel well will never flow the same again, also need an alignment (hit tire a little).

I don't understand attacking someone over a car. I mean, worse case scenario, you go and buy another one.

I don't think anyone here would actually take a swing at someone for something accidental. It's an exaggeration because we care about our cars. Just saying "go buy another," while true I guess, overlooks the work, money, and attachment modding a car involves. Yeah, it can be replaced but it'll never be the same. Someone with a Corolla may not care, but we do.

Instead of saying we're a bunch of "sad people," try to sympathize with the OP.

This is a smart man right here. I couldn't have said it any better myself. "Punching an old lady in the face" is just a figure of speech that means "I would cry if someone did that to my car!"

Exactly. I would never punch an old lady under any circumstances.... I can't believe people take that so literally.
