NEVER jack your car on an incline... sounds easy but I know some stupid people.

"- Use the same brand and model of tire on all 4 wheels"

absolutely unecessary

he is saying " do not hit the brake while you are in a high speed turn." the weight distribution change will cause you to "spin-out"

Never, NEVER get under the car with it jacked up on the factory scissor jack. always put something solid under the frame as a safety stop if you must do this out in the middle of nowhere with no jack stands handy.

Turn on your headlights when it rains, when driving in heavy traffic volume or when driving spirited on backroads. YES, it does help other motorists to see you, this is why the US DOT requires motorcycles to run headlights at all times. S2000's aren't much easier to spot than motorcycles...it makes sense. Personally when driving spirited on backroads in the day time I even run high beams and no one ever pulls out in front of me.

Thats what a loud exhaust is for. Almost the same concept for bikes: Loud pipes save lives.

I'll run different tires on the rear and fronts. The rear tires wear out twice as fast as the fronts, if I'm not liking the tire that is on the car I'll put a different tire on the rears and wait until the fronts wear out on their own. Stick with high performance tires with the same speed rating and there shouldn't be an issue, might be different running on a road course but not daily driving.

Yeah I bought some different tires for the rears, even though the stock re050 are nice tires they are not the best, my rears just went out so I picked up some different rears, no big deal.

Is it okay to change from cat to test pipe with only a floor jack holding the rear up? I have had it on the floor jack before when i painted the calipers and put on the front lip.

Probably not, the bolts will most likely be seized and you'll be using a lot of force to break them loose which might unbalance the car. Do it the proper way with stands

"- Grip on summer tires falls significantly when the temp drops below 40 degrees"

, I can attest to that, I spun and hit a curb in my S because of it

NO! Someone on this forum died doing just that. Please use jack stands and make sure the front wheels have blocks of some sort so that the car doesn't roll off the jack stands.
