can i do this with just jack stands on the back? I have a slanted driveway if that would work any better(drive up and have the back raise a lot but not the front) or a flat garage?

 

Always flat, never use a slanted surface. Make sure those front wheels can't move, or better yet put the whole car in the air w/ 4 jack stands.
