Borrowed my friend's G-Tech and did a few launches to see what 0-60's I can get... third try was the best and then I decide to stop and give the car a break.
Dropping the clutch at 7k (ouch!) I managed a 0-60 of 5.4secs...
I'm actually quite happy with that and I'm sure it can dip into the lower 5's as some on the board have accomplished but I wouldn't want to abuse the clutch anymore than I did.
Cheers

Damn it loki that's a great picture 5.4 is on par w/my G-Tech times for a 7K launch also. I'd like to know if you did any off idle launches? I usually get a 6.1x off idle. The slightly tweaked 10AE Miata gets 7.79 off idle and the M5 burns it up at 4.85 on good launch.

Was only able to do two runs, first was a 5K dump which bogged down a good deal and resulted in a 5.09s. The second run was a 6.5K dump which resulted in such a huge tire smoke show that the rear end kicked out all the way through 1st gear and only snapped back because of the shift to second which resulted in a dismal 5.79 s.
After all the noise and smoke I decided I'd better get the hell out of the area before somebody called Johnny L .
I'm sure if I could drive like a white man, sub 5's are possible.
Maybe I need to hire Sev to drive for me

Hmmmm, interesting loki. I borrowed my cousin's G-Tech last w/e. In about 35degree weather i did my first launch at 6k got a 5.94 (some side way spin which stopped right before i had to shift into second). Tried another at 5-5500......got a 6.2 or 6.4.... Tried another at 4-5 (car bogged down....smelled clutch...) I decided to stop there. I'll try some more when i get more miles on the stook.....(got 1100mi on her now)

Are we having a miscommunication of sorts?
That's in response to Typer_00's Supercharger inquiry.
