G-Tech'd my S2000
Huyto,
Go north to Marin County, take the first exit to Sausilito, make a left and loop around back under the freeway headed south again, head right straight up the mountain and you'll be in the Marin Headlands, continue straight up and at the end of the cul-de-sac, there's a oneway road going down.
HAVE FUN!!!!

Its good to see so many Gtech owners here.
I'm afraid my gteching days are over. After habing done both TSBs, i am now going to stick to my new found love
solo 2, and needless to say aheeeemmmm, i am not realy good at it yet.
I am going to keep the gtech though so i can use it on my next car.
Its good to see people getting some good times out of their cars.

Sev,
Quarter mile and 0-60 may be fun, but pales in comparison to the fun of solo 2. I'm hooked!
Very challenging, and it is real racing without the high expense. And its not very hard on my stook, 'cept maybe some tire wear. It gets my adrenaline going big time and I never thought it would be so fun until I tried it.
Since getting involved with my local SCCA chapter and attending several events and socials I've also met some vey cool sports car enthusiasts, that share a lot of the same interests as me. I've paired up with an older more experienced racer and he has given me much valuable advicce and coaching.
It certainly is hard at first, and, I found, very frustrating! I DNFed every run at my first event at the end of last season. But when I finish a run and maybe even come in a second or 2 faster is very exhiliarating!
How is the solo 2 scene in the Montreal area?
Doug

I'm currently in the Jackson, Mississippi area but looking for new gig further north, but not sure where yet. Maybe NC, Atlanta, wherever I can get the best job. I lived in Toronto for 11 years and may end up back there after another year or so, unless I can't pass up those US $ and the warmer winters down hear. I am a canuck citizen and often miss my homeland, even with the winters.
The solo 2 scene in MS is much smaller than Montreal, but can be competitive when the regional and national solo 2 events come through.
My 1st national event in Meridian, MS was big, almost 300 cars total and very competitive! I was one of only 2 stooks running street tires, and many other drivers had many years of solo 2 experience, so it was very, very humbling!
I've been through 1 driving school, and plan to keep taking them whenever I get the chance; my learning curve now is still pretty steep.
