so does the sound of an exhaust differ from the size of the engine? lets say I put a HKS Hi Power in the S and one in the G35, will the sound be different?

I'm not sure if your being sarcastic or serious...

But yes, the engine play's the major role in what the exhaust note will sound like, and it's not just the size of the engine. Number of piston's, compression, stroke, bore, cam's, firing order, and many other's have an effect on the note.

He wasn't- fish22 is a great guy. Keep in mind that text on these forums is completely devoid of tone- stuff may seem harsh, but sometimes the poster does not want to come across in such a fashion. You have to have a thick skin sometimes and turn your sensitivity down when on these and any other forums.

The reason the G35 sounds the way it does, is because it is a V6 with DOHC per cylinder bank.

I haven't been on the forums for a while but the stupidity of the questions is pushing the limits
