Default the gaps between seats and seatlbelt

Hi guys, I just became a proud s2k owner 4 days ago, so please forgive my noobness if my questions sound stupid to you.

I found this gap differences and wonder if its supposed to be like that. At the passenger side, it seems like the convertible top cover will rob against the wall and seatbelf component.

I have also noticed a subtle rattling sound inside the car, could it be the covertible top?

I hope I am just being too paranoid

Thanks in advance!

Is one seat adjusted forward (or backward) more than the other?

when the seatbelt is retracted it hits the side panel of the car, that is most likely your rattle. Another common problem is if the seat is too back far it hits the panel behind it. I have found that the passenger side is closer than the drivers seat to the side panel, dont worry about it. To avoid the seatbelt rattle I just clip it in even when nobody it sitting here. Ya you look like a freak but at least it doesnt rattle lol.

have you had enough of the rubbing noise yet? Maybe its because im so short ,but the belt used to make a annoying rubbing noise. My fix was to put a small strip of to soft side of velcow on the seat.

it could be that they try to put the seat center to the steering wheel for the driver side
