I just filled up today and put in 11.923 gallons. I thought for some reason the tank only held 11.8. Was I wrong about that? If so anyone ever put in more? Oh by the way I also went 330 miles, not too bad.

every honda has a 13.2 gallon tank

 

i noticed that no bars on the fuelgauge means a gallon or two left

 

All modern cars are designed with a "reserve tank". Usually this "tank" size is about 2 gallons. The idea is that if you're gauge shows E, then technically, you will have more time to get to a gas station.

 

Sorry, but I doubt EVERY Honda has the same size tank.

Pilot = 19.2 according to the Honda site
Accord = 17.1
Oddysey = 20
S2000 = 13.2

Very different cars, for sure. I can't imagine the range in a Pilot if it only had a 13.2.......

Gotta be careful what you share as fact.

ok fine... every honda I've owned/came across had a 13.2 gallon tank.

For what it's worth, 13.2 gallons = 50 liters.

That's a pretty common regulated tank size in a lot of racing series.
