Your gauge setup looks really nice...too bad someone hasn;t come up with an A-pillar gauge pod yet.

FYI - The VDO / Autometer A/F meter is not necessarily the best way to gauge actual ratios, unless you happen to replace the stock O2 sensor with a wideband Horiba or the like. It is a good gauge to see what your ECU is sensing though. And the EGT is for monitoring the cyclinder block temps, especially when it starts leaning out and overheating. Curious which O2 sensor and exhaust manifold location did you tap these into? Being a former Supra Boostaholic, I can appreciate what you're doing to safeguard the F20(S)C

The Air/Fuel shows you if you're getting a rich enough mixture, I think that the fuel regulator can be adjusted to compensate if fuel is too lean.

The guy who had his car totaled on the way to work (lives on Long Island), I forget his sign on had A pillar guages (VDO I think). I saw them. I didn't like them but I saw them so I know it exists.

[B]Webmaster,

Grouping the gauges and having them mounted on the A pillar would look kick ass too.

I'm not sure of the 02, but the installer said the exhaust temp was coming out of piston #3 which "always seems to be hottest in Hondas".

Is it true that 5lbs on a supercharger equals 10lbs of boost on a turbo?.
And Wes those gauges look great.

I can verify that I'm getting 6 lbs of boost, Mark (Lips-something) was watching the gauge today as I showed him the SC.

I took pics of my probe placement but I'm having trouble uploading, will do tomorrow.

I think you mean 900-1300 degrees C. 1300 seems VERY high to me. I have heard that anything above 1150 or so means the engine is running too hot which can equate to some toasted exhaust valves among other things. I'd say you're running too lean under boost.
Yes I meant to say 900 - 1,300. I just took the car out and saw 1,400 cruising in 6th at 83 MPH. I'm going to call the installer (they did my SC too) and talk with them about the Temp. One thing he did say was that he wanted to put the temp in the pistion #3 exhaust because it always seems to be hottest in Hondas.

I did a better job watching the Air/Fuel and would have to say that it stood at around 12:1 at WOT.

I've owned two turbo mod cars (still have one) and 900-13,000 degrees seems awfully high. These are in F right? Cause whenever my exhaust temp went close to 1,000 C, I would be very worried.

1000 C ?
that's like 1800+ F

Who's talking 13,000 degrees anything

We got to get our units straight here!

Wes, what temps are you seeing and in what units?
