Gears?
When having gears is hte RPMs between shifts shorter? For example when I shift from first to 2nd sometimes I dont keep it in VTEC but with gears would the RPM not drop as much? Also is it a good idea to get gears and supercharger or would I be ok with just the supercharger? Thanks

No. A lot of people think gears are the answer too all prayers, but it isn't.
Unless you are trying to extract the most out of your car on one particular track, you can play with gearing, otherwise it won't really help you, not to mention that switching gears may actually increase lap times if the gears don't suit the track.

The change between gears shouldn't change, but your starting point will. You'll be hitting higher rpm's for the same speed.
I've got an 04 with 4.57 gears and SC and think it's great.
I started with just the gears and found them to be a nice improvement off the line and around medium speed corners (no more worrying about dropping into the 2000's notoriously touchy 2nd gear - 3rd often works in those same corners now). Overall acceleration was improved, although I wouldn't say it was a dramatic change (like the SC).
When I added the SC I noticed the gears helped compensate for the SC's minimal improvement in hp below 5k rpm's. Since I got the SC afterwards, I couldn't tell you what to expect without the gears.
Gears are definitely worth the money. Plus the 4.57's from Rick's are stronger than stock, in case you get an SC.
Just my 2 cents.
