Some Generous Fiend left me a "gift" of 14 cents in change superglued to the hood of my Sebring silver s2000. I got the largest portion off with only 3 spots that look like small rock nicks into the finish..... Anyone know of a way to take care of these without a full repaint of the hood???

Someone superglued change to u'r car? That is by far the most f'in disrespectful way to diss u'r car. If I ever saw or found out who did something like that, I'd be superglueing various parts of him to his car.

Acetone aka nail polish remover will disolve the glue.

Unfortunately, it will also thin the clear coat to a point that it'll look hazy, or begin to chip off.

What about something with zylene (sp?), such as bug and tar remover?

If you can, get some butyrate and pour it in their car. You don't even need much of it. It will stink forever like crap and no matter how much you wash, spray air freshener, it will be there for the life of the car. I bet they can't even sell it.
