My final opinion on this issue is this. I have argued heavily in the favor that the "Street Encounters" forum is wrong and there are very valid grounds of getting rid of it, BUT, I could really care less if it stays or goes. I have mainly argued my point because I like a good arguement sometimes. I am not innocent of street racing from a red light to "smack down" a dumb kid in a neon that keeps reving at me. But it isn't that often(maybe twice a year,.....really). But, yes, I think street racing is HIGHLY dangerous mainly because a majority of the people involved are young and don't know how to control their agressions (which always come up in these races). I have even posted in that forum, but it was about an old lady in a BMW that was trying to flirt with me, not race me.

Either way, if it stays or goes, I don't care. Have fun and be carefull.

Ok, I just edited my post. I didn't mean to hit a sore spot with you.

I do contribute to this board and feel that my money is well spent supporting the board as well. I agree, I have zero decision influence with this board. But anonymous freebies making a stink on how the own3rs choose to set up their board just hits ME wrong. OK?

Good to see you contributing to the discussion.

Actually I'm flying my stars under false pretences as I don't have an S anymore and I haven't renewed my subs as I'm a member of another board now which looks set to become a a contributary board on a voluntary basis... much like this one.

I guess my stars are due to be removed at some stage, but I'll try to not let it affect my life too much. I continue to post here because it's a pretty cool place to be.

If we ban the street racing folder, will the trolls there go elsewhere? If my muffler falls off in a forest will anyone hear it?

Please, give the boys a place to spew their riceness, I'm OK with that. I would hate to see this group become so PC that we can't talk about eating meat, reviewing R movies, or (Heaven Forbid) our religion or politics. Banning the "Street Encounters" would be the first step in that direction.

Not that I ever spent any time there- I thought it had something to do with the procurement of a profesional women... (shrug)

While much of "Street Encounters" is juvenile at best - I do remember really enjoying reading of WisconsinS2k's exploits.

I have to agree... if you don't like it - just don't click on it.

Poor analogies like claiming driving in the first place is dangerous so why not have a ban on posts about driving the S2000!!
