Hey, at least we don't give birth and have periods. Being a man is still better than the alternative...not that there's anything wrong with that...
And has anyone seen TEN CM's. Ouch!! No thanks. He will learn in time like the rest of us.

I was thinking about getting one for a long time but thought now way she goes for it. Well one night the gin must have been doing the talking and I brought it up. And OMG she said she was thinking about the same thing. Go figure. We had a S in 3 days.

Just when you think you have them figured out they throw you a curve just to keep you on your toes.

DAMN ESTROGEN!

Axel6 - I didn't mean to sound like a dick, but it just seemed like that way to me. Maybe after several years, I'll think about what I said and laugh. lol. You probably though the same way when you were my age though.
Please...no offense taken. I used to think the same way when I was younger.

My oldest son is 2yo and loves riding in daddy's car. Seeing the smile on his face everytime I put the top down on the Miata is worth the little effort required to make marriage a success.

The reason I always ask about big purchases is if she buys some really expensive crap I have some ground to stand on.

Being the dominator in the relationship don't mean a damn if you undermine yourself and can't set an example.

i was a bit worried on that one. i picked up my 06 new a few months before the wedding

turns out that although she thinks its a complete waste of money, she knows cars are important to me. for that reason--i like cars--she already told me that its just fine if i spend the $5000 to $10000 on a 'turbo thingy or whatever' just as long as it wouldnt hurt us financially. and to her defense, me wanting a turbo sounds to her the same as if she wanted a $6000 perm would sound to me.

she's in school right now, so getting the money will take a lot longer than if i was single, but i'd rather drive with her along with me every day and wait for the FI. i like being married.

the goal is to have the S already paid for by the time you're married.

I basically had buy my wife a new Lexus 330 to get my used S2000, so we both got new cars. She had a VW jetta, the worst car ever it broke all the time. I kept my Ford Explorer as my winter car. So I understand your situation. Good luck!

Some wives actually like S2000's. We have two and she says they're both hers.
