I've got a couple little spots on my dash, where the warning stickers were. Being the picky s.o.b. I am, They gotta go. Just wondering what you guys used to get it off without damaging the dash...
Zach.

Z, Xenit can be had at Home Depot or such places. Give them a call first...it's a citrus-based solvent, works wonders!

No, it's not carried at Home Depot now that I think about it. I got mine at a store LIKE Home Depot in Chicago called Menards. Make a few phone calls before going out...unless the weather would allow some top down cruising!

All of this stuff sounds like it will work. My major concern is getting it off with out hurting the dash or leaving an ugly glossy spot on an other wise dull finished dash. Kno wwhat I'm gettin at just want to make damn sure befor I go to work on my baby.

p.s. hey greg, I'm headed out for a top down cruise right now....gotta love it!

craZ,

Do yourself a favor and don't use nail polish remover. It is acetone based and will dry the bejeezus out of anything that you clean with it. I would be afraid that it would cause the dash to crack down the road.

Instead, use some of the citrus based products like Jay recommended. Good luck.
