I'm going to let my wife try and learn in my car. And then I'll probably have to buy a new clutch and lightweight flywheel.

I would teach a gf to drive in my s2k without issue.

However, I would NOT let her
-back out of a driveway first thing
-stall 10x in a row without figuring out WHY she was stalling...
-let her drive it after just recently getting into 2 accidents..
-basically anything and everything you did
to the OP,

To me, an S2000 is a car...Not Honda's gift to the automobile. If I trust someone to drive my car then there's no harm...There are rules however:

1. They already own an S(Basically know how to drive one, along with closing doors smoothly and treating it like an S).
2. I know for a fact that they can drive stick(I must know them for a minimum of 4-6 months and have experienced their driving as a passenger in their vehicle, that has a stick and clutch).

(No, a Honda fit w/ the sport shifters doesn't count)

next time.. empty flat parking lot just so she can get the basics. i'd really only teach my GF so she can drive me home when i have too much to drink.
