I tried teaching my gf on my S. She too stalled it like 10 times in a row. Never again after that. She can borrow her parents care to go learn.

it's always a losing proposition when you propose to teach your girlfriend anything.

Your story made me laugh.

I felt like after all that you were going to end with: "So does anyone know a good way to patch up my neighbor's tree and make sure it doesn't die?"

We all have to learn somewhere. The best thing you can do for your GF is to take a trip far into the the middle of no where. Take her phone, all her money, and her shoes. Run away while leaving your s2k running. Either she learns or she blows the tranny. You'll be suprise how people learn under pressure. Also tell her theres a killers on the loose. Good luck

Wow that sucks. I taught my girlfriend how to drive manual. I first showed her in her dads Isuzu Trooper. After about an hour she got the hang of it pretty well, she only stalled it a couple times. I then took her to a huge empty parking lot and let her drive my s2k for a bit. She didnt stall my car once, so im happy! She drives stick just like I do now.

how is anyone going to diagnose a 'weird noise' over the internet?

OP needs to go to a professional and get it checked out if he's worried.
