Mine had the same problem. I used a little Acetone though.

Wow just did this to my car. Had a bunch of scuffs all over mine and used this rubbing alcohol. Worked wonders. Looks brand new now. A bit tiring rubbing but eventually all came off with great results. So happy I found out about this.
