i ran over a wild dog(not sure, too dark) one midnight on the I15 (mojave desert) doing around 80, it was a split second decision of swerving or running over it, i had a car beside me so it's either i hit the car, hit the dog, or hit the dirt. the dog bit the dust and my front frame was bent, the little sucker went right through my bumper.

i wanna say i know how you feel, but my car was still drivable after it so... i dont know how you feel...

sorry to hear.

Unless it's a deer or a very large dog, I'm not changing my line.

VGS might have been helpful here to prevent a large steering input from unsettling the vehicle.
I believe you too.

Sorry to hear, glad you're alright, you can always get another S with the insurance or part out money, where in connecticut are you located? If you are parting out, I wouldn't mind dropping by to pickup a few parts, thanks.

i know most people here are saying to just run over an animal if your about to hit, but i think alot of the times is just like a reflex, if somethings in front of you, move out of the way. its happened to me alot of times but at slower speeds...
