Default good floor jack for the S2K?

can anyone recommend a good floor jack for our cars? I've been looking at some on amazon and some jacks with good reviews still have complaints that they are not suitable for lower sports cars like miatas (and thus probably our cars as well). Also, something that isn't overly expensive would be a plus. I saw this with good reviews on amazon for a good price:

http://www.amazon.com/Torin-T82012-H...528020&sr=1-59

There are others for 100-200 that also have good reviews, but not sure which is best. any advice would be appreciated

I got this one
http://www.harborfreight.com/automot...html-7814.html

With some coupon from the back of a Car and Driver magazine or something it was $59.00
Fits underneath fine, lifts easy.

Honestly get a low profile from harbor freight as above, use jack stands and you should be fine.

thanks! that's actually a pretty good looking jack...never thought I'd be saying those words. and the price there is cheaper than what amazon lists. guess amazon isn't always the lowest in price.

follow up Q- found a coupon online for 69.99 for this jack. have you tried to use it to lift any cars heavier than a s2k? my other car is an 06 G35 coupe, which weights 3400 pounds. since this jack is rated for 1.5 tons, I'm wondering how capable it would be still for a car that's heavier than the S2K. would prefer to have 1 jack I could use for both cars, but not if it's going to be a safety issue.

A low profile is nice, otherwise you're lifting the side of the car up or driving up on a riser to get the standard floor jacks under there.

I bought a low profile (2.5 ton??) jack from costco for $100. It works great. I can just barely get it under the side since I am lowered.

I just bought a different Harbor Freight jack - 2 ton, low profile jack (2.75" clearance) that's perfect for me for $80

I have the same one, fits under the S nicely but is leaking. Had it about 2 years or so. Definitely need a low profile for the S though, especially if you're lowered.

any thoughts about using the 1.5 ton to lift a G35? safe? stupid? I haven't checked if the 2 ton is on sale, but the 1.5 ton for 69 is a good deal. the 2 ton is $140 retail on harbor freight.
