3 ton jack coupon $79.99

That way you dont have to worry.
Should still fit under the S too I think but should probably go check in-store to be sure. They usually have floor models out.

If you lift each corner at a time, 1.5 ton is enough. G35 is 3500 lbs so about 875lbs each corner (assuming the car distributes its weight evenly), that is .4375 ton. Even the worst case, lift the whole front or rear at the same time is about 1750lbs and that is 0.875 ton.

Always make sure you use sufficient jack stands not the floor jack alone and wheels chokes as necessary.

OP, got a link to the coupon? Thanks

whaat that's a great deal too. this harbor freight place rocks.

although you are probably right about double checking the clearance since it isn't advertised as a racing jack.

I have an standard Craftsman jack that will not fit under the front lip (not lowered-stock car) but I just drive it up on 2X4s (for each front tire) and I have room for the jack. No big deal. I did cut the end of the wood at 45 degree angle to make it easier to drive up and put a spot of duct tape underneath to keep them from sliding.
Works like a charm. That way you can have a bigger jack for the other cars. I have an MDX among other cars.

this one. I personally have this one and it works great. very low profile, good price and hasn't failed me. its pretty sturdy/heavy. Doesn't look like it was cheaply made. Just pick up some jack stands and you'll be ok

With some coupon from the back of a Car and Driver magazine or something it was $59.00
Fits underneath fine, lifts easy.

Just to double check, this one will reach the front jack point without needing to drive the front tires on top of something?

Can't go wrong with this. Includes lifetime warranty with costco.

good floor jack for the S2K?-dfxitri.jpg

EDIT: Make sure you call your local costco, they have been trying to get rid of these. Last time I checked they were around $80 for the display model.
