[QUOTE=Bass,Sep 3 2004, 02:40 PM] I guess i'm retired errr re-treaded - err retared

30.5 is a good deal if you can find a "new" one for 26 then buy them all and the re-sell them - oh maybe you got such a good deal cause you got the special pink Barbie edition (in your avatar)

I got mine last month new for $30.5k. I contacted all the local dealers and no one would even try to make a better offer so I think I got a square deal.

I would contact a local dealer before buying off ebay.

I've called all over San Diego, and no one will give me anything below 30k. Everyone is asking 31-33k for a s2k...? maybe its because I live in san diego?

i wouldn't pay more than 26K for an '04 - especially with '05's being just around the corner.
I'll give you $26K; please go find a brand new one for me. You wouldn't pay more than $26K? They wouldn't let you have a chance to pay $26K. Yes, the '05 is coming out, but it doesn't mean the '04 will be thousands of dollars less than invoice.

Wait! S2000's are cheaper in Canada anyway.

Back to topic: paying invoice for a new S2K is awesome. Around here, it's kinda rare.

S2000's are cheaper in the US, and I'd shoot for 28k, in a month or two, an 04 will be 1 model year old, new or not, ask yourself if it will be worth the same as an 05 four years from now
