Default Good price?

Bought a "used" 2007 S2000 with 3000 miles on it. Yellow with black interior. I got it for $28,000 out the door.

What do you guys think?

Oh, and I love the S2000. Such a sweet car. >__<

Well how much is MSRP, now take about 2000 off that price and that's roughly dealers invoice. Now Take into consideration that as soon as it leaves the lot it has depreciated a ton.

I think that's a good price!

BTW. Welcome to the club, you will have many years of enjoyment

Take your time learning the car and transmission. Many people are not use to the "close ratio" transmission and accidently overrev the motor.

Change out the oil in a couple thousand miles...

Please take the time to read up on first maintenance requirements

I think it was a demo of some sort. There's no owner on it. I'm the first one, but it's listed as "used" with 3000 miles.

Either way, it was fun driving back. You're right about not getting used to close ratio. I overrev it a few times.

Well... When I say overrev, I mean mechanically...

Meaning -> You are driving 90 miles in 6th gear and you want to downshift to 5th but miss and go into 3rd.

This will mean goodbye motor

Isn't the dealership invoice price usually more than the MSRP?

no.

MSRP Manufacture Suggested Retail Price

Invoice Price is how much it costed the dealer to buy from the manufacture (cost)

The overrev that I was talking about is probably user error. LOL. I'm not used to driving stick shift yet.

I actually think it's easier to shift in the S2000. The gearbox is so wonderful and well defined, you never miss a shift. Its great!
