Probably a dumb question, but I thought I read somewhere that I should always put the top up when I park the car for the night. My S2K is always garged so theft is not an issue and I have protection for the plastic window. Other than that, is it good for the top to leave it down all the time? Or at least overnight?

 

I usually put my top up when I hand wash the car, but not always.

I always put the top up if I get caught in a sudden snow squall.

Otherwise, top down always. I think it saves wear and tear on the rear window.

Bassman had the hardtop on his S2000 all last winter and didn't put the top up for months.
