Sorry to hear about the story. Does sound a little fishy. The blue is nice but definitely try to get a bigger discount "for your troubles" if you take it. Good luck man.

Sounds like the dealer is trying to pull a fast 1 on you, If you want red, then get red. Like others have said call other dealers and see if they can get the red for you.

I know how hard it can be to wait for delivery of an S2000.....but I would wait for the Laguna Blue Pearl. After seeing it in person, that color is most definitely worth the wait.

I had not even considered the Laguna Blue - actually I was fundamentally opposed to even owning a blue car. The white was my color of choice, with black being a close second. Then I saw the Laguna in person. The next day I bought it, and have been loving it ever since. At least give it a look...

stick with your original choice in color or else trust me even though you will love the S....your always going to be thinking about why you didn't get it in NFR. Most of the time when dealers say it's the only "this" in the state they are full of shit. Have them find you another one, and tell them to make it quick. They are at fault for crashing your car, and tell them you will go talk to other honda dealers about getting an NFR if they do not hustle their ass to get you the one you want.

ahaha, one of the dealer employee is probably reading this thread about calling them on their bluff and getting scared right now.

I had a chat with an agent at a Honda dealership before and he says all their sales reps do all day is surf the web and read forums. He couldn't tell me anything on an 07 model because they don't get the info until it's publicly released. The guy says he gets calls all the time about future models and he tells them he doesn't know, and the customers get crazy mad at them saying Honda Japan should have told them and he's just being shady.
