Default GOT IT!! and I got Q's!

I just picked up my brand new 02, blk/blk s2k! Several things. Im trying to break it in correctly... whats the best way to do this? I've heard no vtec for 600 miles, and I've also heard no vtec for 1000-3000 miles. Whats the best way to do this? Also, I left my owners manual at my cousins house tonight... Where is the switch to open the gas lid? I've looked everywhere, and no luck! Im also an inexperienced manual driver. What are some of the worst things you can do for your tranny? Clutch, etc? THANK YOU!!

The switch for the gas cap is in the door frame on the drivers side (your elbow could almost touch it when you are sitting in the driver's seat).

Break-in....no VTEC till 600miles.

Fuel door release...open your door and look between the the door jamb and the seat. there is a small black knob that you pull to open it. Once you find it, you will not need to open the door to open it.

Driving stick...hmmm learn on someone elses car

Break it in like any other car. Along with no VTEC for first 600 miles try to do some decent distances in different driving conditions (i.e up hill, down hill, straights etc etc) all the while varying the load, rpm and speed. i.e. don't brake it in just running aound town if you can help it. Keep a very close eye on the oil level.

Congrats on your purchase BTW.
